He has experience as a Chair of Governors, a Trustee of the Alliance Française in Oxford, a Boarding Team Inspector for ISI, and he has been involved in the regional workings of HMC.

His appointment was announced at the BAISIS AGM on 6th October. Andrew said he was honoured to serve BAISIS as its Chair and paid tribute to Julian Baker for his work during his five years as Chair.

He added “there has never been a more important time for everybody involved in teaching and looking after international pupils to be united. I want to ensure that BAISIS continues to offer the same high quality of service to member schools and colleges, and that it has a strong voice within the BSA Group. BAISIS is at an interesting and exciting moment in its development and I look forward to working with BSA CEO, Robin Fletcher and Director BAISIS, Caroline Nixon”.
