From the Chair

Dear colleagues,

I wanted to take a moment to welcome you all back following the start of the new academic year – I hope you are all settling in well. It is no doubt going to be an interesting and challenging year, requiring much flexibility and agility as we continue to respond to the ongoing challenges of COVID-19.

As Robin mentioned in last week’s newsletter, we’re keen to gain an understanding of the numbers of boarders returning to our members’ schools, both in the UK and internationally. With that in mind, we would be grateful if could complete a short survey, which you can find more details on below.

We’re keen to get as many responses and as much information as possible to help us build a picture of what’s happening across the sector, so if you could take a moment to complete it, it would be very much appreciated.

I wish you all the very best for the new term and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible later this month at our rescheduled Annual Conference for Heads, which you can also read more about in this edition. And please do remember that, if you do need any help or support from the BSA, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Best wishes, Mark Lauder
