For any member schools who still have Chinese and Hong Kong pupils planning to go home for the holidays, we would like to draw your attention to the following:
1.     British Airways have been banned from flying to Hong Kong for two weeks: https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/health-environment/article/3113669/coronavirus-holiday-plans-disarray-hong-kong-bans?fbclid=IwAR1jl40KHw4Ap90tffdjI8ysd-jDi8i-lYMBvx8HBO6g-X4XDyT6rN4CXbA
2.     Pupils going into quarantine on arrival in Hong Kong need to book a designated government hotel and test on day 19. Quarantine is still 14 days so the third test on day 19 is at a specified government testing area: COVID-19 Thematic Website – Together, We Fight the Virus – Quarantine for Inbound Travellers – Frequently Asked Questions (coronavirus.gov.hk)
3.     COVID test results from another two clinics, DocTap and Dr Glancey, are no longer recognised by the Chinese Government. This is in addition to Oncologica and BioGrad Clinic which, as stated in our previous newsletters, are also no longer accepted: 关于暂停认可DocTap、DrGlancey两家诊所核酸和抗体检测报告的通知 (chinese-embassy.org.uk)
Best wishes,
