We are looking for a dedicated and inspirational person to be our Head of EAL. The Head of EAL will have a passion for developing teaching and learning and will have a strong work ethic. You will be an enthusiastic, leader and hardworking individual, with a passion for international culture and a willingness to explore and celebrate global student experiences. You will take responsibility for the leadership and delivery of EAL teaching throughout the school, as well as carrying out the duties of Head of Department and Form Tutor.

Our international students come from a variety of nationalities: Japanese, Chinese, Russian, German and Kazakh to name a few. We provide teaching from A1-C2 level and enter students for English exams from B1-C2 level. Our international students are also very much involved in the life of the school from sports teams to being prefects and even Head Pupil.

Stonar is a co-educational, non-selective boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 18 and we pride ourselves on our ability to nurture the learning needs of every individual in a respectful, supportive and globally-minded community.
