We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic EAL teacher to join our International School and Sixth Form, providing EAL support for international students aged 13 – 18 studying for IGCSEs and A levels at d’Overbroeck’s. This is a full-time appointment ideally starting 19 February 2024, but we would consider a post Easter start. We will also consider part time applications.
Role overview
The post would particularly suit teachers with a strong interest in CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and a willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
This is primarily a classroom teaching post, and a full-time teacher can expect to have up to 21 hours of classroom teaching a week, as well as contributing to the International School’s programme of activities (some of which run after the end of the school day and at weekends). The successful candidate will also take the role of form tutor, with additional pastoral responsibilities.
