BSA and BAISIS are delighted to announce our first International University Day event aimed students currently studying in Years 11, 12 and 13 on Wednesday 13 March, 10am – 2.45pm.
This free event for BSA and BAISIS member schools is for students and the staff who advise them on university entrance.
A range of speakers from international universities will give presentations on the following topics:
- The benefits of studying abroad and what may surprise you about studying in another country
- The international student experience
- The difference between university / higher education systems in England and other countries
- Your future career: creative degree choices
This event will provide students, some of whom already live and study away from their home country, with the opportunity to explore options for international study during their university career. Undertaking your degree whilst experiencing another culture is a great opportunity, and one we are delighted to support students in our member schools explore. The day is completely free of charge for members, and schools may send as many students and staff as they wish.
When booking your place, please give one staff name to secure your spot. Later you will be able to add contact details for as many students and staff as you would like to attend.

Study Options is the official application support service for students wanting to enrol at Australian and New Zealand universities. A free service for students funded directly by Australian and New Zealand universities to help them throughout the application process. Study Options offers a number of different services including; advice, applications, pre-departure and visa support.
University College Roosevelt (UCR)
At University College Roosevelt (UCR), you will be able to combine courses from different disciplines according to your interests, while building a strong foundation in academic skills. As you study at UCR, you will live in guaranteed housing in the historic city of Middelburg, surrounded by 600 students from all over the world while earning a B.A. or B.Sc. degree from Utrecht University.
Nagoya University of Commerce and Business (NUCB)
NUCB was the first undergraduate school in Japan and part of only 5% of business schools worldwide to hold the prestigious AACSB accreditation. NUCB Graduate School of Management were awarded the Triple Crown (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) in 2021, joining an illustrious group of just over 100 top schools worldwide to have such a distinction.

Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU)
Ritsumeikan APU is a multicultural campus where about 50% of the student body comprises of international students. Students from 106 countries and regions (as of May 1, 2023) gather to study this uniquely international environment in Japan. About 90% of all courses at APU are held in both English and Japanese. Students have the option of pursuing their areas of study in either language.
