We would be delighted if you would join us on Monday May 11, 2026 (14:00 – 15:00) via Zoom for our Summer Term Meeting.
At each termly meeting we will discuss a theme. If you have any suggestions for the theme for any of our termly forums, please let us know via baisis@boarding.org.uk.
Along with discussion on our termly theme, members will have the opportunity to discuss wider topics and issues in networking groups. These groups are organised into the following areas: leadership, pastoral, academic and recruitment/marketing. With this in mind we encourage and welcome multiple attendees from the same school.

Maite Sandoval, Head of Year, coordinates English as an Additional Language at UWC Atlantic
Maite Sandoval is the Head of Year and coordinates English as an Additional Language at UWC Atlantic, the founding college of the United World Colleges movement. The college co-created the IB Diploma and recently won Gold at the Independent School Awards for Best International Student Experience. Maite oversees academic progress, attendance, and safeguarding across the year group. With extensive experience supporting multilingual learners, she specialises in developing holistic strategies that enhance language acquisition, academic development and social integration. She also collaborates closely with teachers, families, and leadership teams to ensure students thrive in both pastoral and academic domains. Passionate about international education, she brings a practical, student-centred approach to her work and to professional development initiatives within the school community.
