Short-term international placement bring unique challenges and opportunities to UK schools, especially boarding schools. Franki Quantrell, Director of Boarding

Franki has over 17 years’ experience in boarding, spanning pastoral roles in summer schools, several Housemistress positions and, most recently, the role of Director of Boarding. She is also the Safeguarding Governor at a local all-through school.

Alongside her extensive pastoral and boarding experience, Franki is a keen academic, holding degrees from Durham, Worcester, and Chester, and continues to teach A-Level Mathematics. She is passionate about making school a joyful and fulfilling experience for every pupil and is always exploring new initiatives and approaches to help young people thrive and reach their full potential.
