Iva Miteva

Iva Miteva is an experienced EAL and Multilingualism Specialist with over 18 years’ experience supporting multilingual learners from diverse linguistic, cultural and educational backgrounds. She has taught English as an Additional Language and led whole-school EAL provision as Head of EAL in both primary and secondary schools. Iva holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management. She is passionate about promoting multilingualism, inclusive practice, and ensuring learners’ home languages are recognised as valuable assets that enrich learning and academic success.
