Short-term international placements offer schools an excellent opportunity to provide enriching academic and cultural experiences. With limited time to build relationships and understand each student’s needs, effective preparation is key.
This practical session explores how schools can gather meaningful information before a student’s arrival, support a smooth transition into school life, and deliver positive academic outcomes during their placement. Delegates will gain practical strategies for understanding students’ backgrounds, setting realistic expectations and ensuring a successful experience for both pupils and staff.
